Recently, 35 students from Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) took a significant step towards their professional futures by attending the Graduan Aspire Career Fair 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Organised by Sustainability Future Fusion (SFF), under the guidance of Ms Cynthia Mala Paul Dorairaj (Lecturer and Advisor of SFF, School of Business at APU), the visit served as a vibrant hub of opportunities for students, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17).

The fair brought together some of Malaysia’s leading industry players, including:

1. Malaysia Airlines
2. Toyota
3. Maybank
4. CIMB
5. U Mobile
    

The atmosphere of the fair was electric with energy, inspiration, and meaningful interactions. 

For many students, this was their first immersive experience in such a dynamic career environment.

They explored a variety of industries, delving into company cultures, internship opportunities, and potential career pathways.

Rather than simply collecting brochures or scanning QR codes, students engaged in genuine conversations with recruiters and professionals, gaining first-hand insights into the evolving job market and what employers seek today.

1. Sharifa Said Baharoon: “The fair provided valuable insights into the wide range of career paths available, while the experience deepened my understanding of how i can further develop myself to become a stronger and more competitive candidate in the future.”
