Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) and Indonesia’s Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) Denpasar solidified a significant international collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 15th May 2025 at state-of-the-art APU campus in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This pivotal agreement signals a shared vision to significantly advance teaching, learning, and research across the vital fields of psychology, business, and tourism.
The signing ceremony was a distinguished affair, witnessed by key representatives from both institutions: Professor Dr Andy Seddon, APU’s Senior Director of Partnerships & Standards; Professor Dr Ir Nyoman Sri Subawa, Rector of UNDIKNAS; Mr Ida Nyoman Basmantra, Head of International Office UNDIKNAS; Professor Dr Kashif Hussain, Senior Head School of Business (SoB) and School of Global Hospitality & Tourism (SoGHT); and Ms Vinorra Shaker, Head School of Psychology (SoP).
This event was also strongly supported by Ms Nurul Syakirin Mahdi, APU’s Manager, Customer Relations; Mr Muhammad Nabil Danial Mohd Zaini, APU’s Student Services Executive; Mr Clarence, APU’s Indonesian Regional Representative; and Mr Hansen Suherman as well as the Asia Pacific University Indonesian Student Society (AUISS).
Under this forward-thinking agreement, both universities are poised to significantly enrich their curricula and elevate learning experiences within psychology, business, and tourism.
Collaborative initiatives will include the co-design of innovative modules, fostering dynamic student and staff exchange programmes, and orchestrating joint professional development activities.
These concerted efforts are designed to cultivate deep intercultural understanding and substantially enhance academic quality across the board.

APU and UNDIKNAS will actively explore joint research projects, create invaluable internship opportunities, and co-host engaging events such as workshops and symposia.
